メッシ公式ブログはなぜ日本語版のみ開設されているのか？　メッシ公式ブログの運営者である今井健策さんがインタビューに応え、その理由を語っている。

結論から言えば、その理由は日本以外ではスポンサー探しを担う人が見つかっていないから。メッシは、一つはファンにメッセージを伝える「場」を作りたかったから。もう一つは、難病の子どもを支える「メッシ財団」への協賛金を集める仕組みを構築したかったから、２つの理由でブログを開設した。

メッシ自身は４か国語でブログを開設したいと考えているが、まだスペイン語版のスポンサー探しを担う人がみつかっておらず、次は中国語版ができそうだとのこと。

運営者の今井さんが語る一番の苦労は「原稿が予想外の時間に送られてくること」。ファンを大切にするメッシからは試合終了直後にメッセージが届くこともあるが、それが明け方の４時だったりするのが大変なところだという。

元のインタビュー記事を見ると，午前4時が以外だと言っているのではなく，試合「直後」というのが以外…という意味だと思いますよ。

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don't have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn't write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
